We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing ecommerce business, which specialises in supplying high-quality replacement parts for household appliances such as vacuum cleaners and hair dryers. This is a key leadership role that will support the company’s ongoing expansion across multiple sales platforms including eBay, our own website, and future marketplaces such as TikTok Shop.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our product sourcing, inventory management, order fulfilment, delivery processes, and vendor coordination run efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Oversee and manage inventory control and storage coordination across multiple self-storage units.

·        Develop and implement operational procedures to improve workflow, accuracy, and efficiency.

·        Manage and maintain supplier and vendor relationships, ensuring timely procurement of high-quality parts from UK-based suppliers.

·        Monitor and manage delivery partner performance, ensuring on-time and reliable service to customers.

·        Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on operational performance.

·        Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment of operations with business goals and customer expectations.

·        Budget planning and cost control, identifying opportunities for operational savings without compromising quality.

·        Assist in future readiness planning for app development and new marketplace integrations.

·        Ensure compliance with company policies, UK health and safety standards, and legal regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

·        Proven experience in operations management, preferably within an ecommerce or logistics environment.

·        Strong understanding of inventory control, supplier coordination, and warehouse/storage operations.

·        Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end processes.

·        Experience working with multi-channel order management systems is desirable.

·        High attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.

·        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

·        Degree or professional certification in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.

·        Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (eBay, Shopify, etc.) and delivery logistics management tools.

·        Previous experience in a startup or scaling business is a plus.
